C Cotton Reinforced - Grade C
A fabric reinforced laminate produced from cotton fabric weiging over 4oz. per sq. yd. Thread count is not more than 72" in the filler directions & not over 140 total for wrap & filler directions. Grade C is tough and strong. It has high impact strength and machines readily. This grade is excellent for a wide variety of mechanical applications.
CE - Grade CE
Similar to grade C in weight of fabric and thread count. Tough resilient grade for unusual electrical applications. Greater resistance to moisture than Grade C and controlled electrical properties. Easy to machine. Used in electrical applications requiring mechanical strength.
Grade G-10/FR4 is a continuous filament woven glass fabric grades, impregnated with epoxy resin. These grade are particularly noted for their excellent electrical values. They possess low moisture absorption & low dissipation factor & maintain these excelent electrical characteristics over a wide range of humidities & temperatures.
Grade G-11 is an excellent electrical & machining properties with the best dimensional stability, high insulation resistance, dielectric strength. G–11 has high heat resistance. Similar characteristics to G-10 with greater property rentention at higher temperatures.
Grade G-7 is a continuous filament glass cloth reinforced with a silicone resin binder. Very good dielectric loss factor & insulation resistance under humid conditions over a wide temperature range. Excellent heat and arc resistance.
Grade G-9 is a continuous filament woven glass fabric reinforced grade with a melamine resin. For applications requiring arc & flame resistance & high mechanical strength. Excellent electrical strength properties under wet conditions. Excellent arc resistance.
All grades of GPO sheets are produced using polyester resin and fiberglass reinforcement. They are U.L. recognized and are available in 36"x72" and 48"x96" sheet. Sheets are manufactured in thickness ranging from 1/32" to 1".
GPO 2
U.L. recognized GPO-2 has a flammability rating of 94 VO. A good general purpose, cost effective, flame retardant grade for I.E.E.E. temperature class 130°C and meeting NEMA.
GPO 3
Recognized by U.L. as having a 180 second arc-resistance and flammability class 94 VO. For high voltage TV components and insulators. Used in medium and high voltage switch-gear as barriers, supports, and panels. Punches readily.
Channels
Our U.L. recognized electrical insulating channels are compression molded from high strength fiberglass reinforced polyester materials. We also offer U.L. recognized pultruded channels in various sizes. NEMA grade GPO-3 channels.
Angles
Electrical insulating angles available in various dimensions.
Grade XX
Grade XX is a hard paper reinforced laminate with a phenolic resin binder. Good mechanical properties, high dielectric strength and resistance in moisture. Suitable for many electrical applications. Good machinability.
Grade XXX
Grade XXX is a paper reinforced laminate with a phenolic resin binder. Low loss electrical grade for high voltage. Approx. the same mechanical properties as Grade XX but is considerably better electrically due to its high resin content. Grade XXX is desirable for use at radio frequencies & under high humidity conditions. Min. cold flow.
